Matt Richiazzi ‘09!
While drinking/drunk last night, my friend Matt Richiazzi told me he intends on running for mayor of the city of Buffalo in 2009. He’s totally credible — has a B.A. from Cornell University in Urban Planning and Development (just what Buffalo needs—development!), interned as a lobbyist in Washington D.C., and ton of other stuff that I was too drunk to remember. Then we decided I would be hired to work on his campaign…I am a political science major at Buffalo State afterall!
So, Matt Richiazzi for mayor of Buffalo 2009! Woo!
Then we went to a gay bar. I’m not a fan of gay bars, so as soon as we walked in, I pulled a 180 and walked out. Attempted to walk home in high heels — not an easy feat after a huge snow storm in Buffalo! After walking a few feet, some black guy rolled up in an SUV and offered to give me ride home. I was just drunk enough to accept his offer (let’s face it, I wasn’t getting anywhere in those heels). We got to talking and I quickly find out he’s a drug dealer (go figure) and was on his way to pick up some cocaine (and then offered some to me). Luckily, we were right by my apartment, so I just hopped out of his vehicle and wandered into my apartment. Drug dealers are so not my scene.
The moral of the story? Something crazy always happens to me when I decide to drink!
Cheers,
Jodie
