On a somewhat related (but also unrelated) matter… I’m fairly confident my 13 year old Chocolate Labrador, Candy, had a stroke late last night. She’s been having tremors for awhile now but this was so far beyond the usual shakes. I thought it was a seizure - she use to have them every once in awhile when she was a young pup. And then I realized it was much more serious then that. It was as if an entire side of her body was numb. If she attempted to walk she just fell to one side and then ultimately to the ground. She was seizing up and still attempting to get up and walk to the door. I guess she knew she had to go outside and didn’t want to get yelled at if she had an accident. She seems to have snapped out of this a little bit… but not so much. I don’t want to admit it - but it’s time to put her down. She’s obviously suffering at this point. My poor baby. This will be the hardest thing I will ever have to do.
